Baby Room
With less than two months to go until we up-size our family unit we decided that now is as good a time as any to complete the necessary transformation in our home by converting what used to be a second office room into a baby room. Kaley & Corey – Family Session in Calgary
Spending time with these three on Saturday afternoon felt a bit more like an adventure than a photo shoot to me. They were more than willing to venture both on and off the paved pathways that surrounded the lake in this beautiful southeast Calgary park and the camera loved every minute of our time together. By keeping things interesting we were able to keep a pretty big smile on the face of their uber-cute 18 month old boy and the fun and relaxed atmosphere allowed me to capture some very genuine and natural interactions between the three of them.
Contemporary Framed Prints
For the past 3 or 4 weeks I have spent an inordinate amount of time searching for suppliers of various components and materials that I need to mount, mat, and frame large prints. After hitting seemingly endless dead ends with some of Calgary’s local art suppliers I decided that I would need to take my shopping list online if I wanted to find the things I was looking for. In the end I was able to locate everything I needed and after placing a half dozen product orders to suppliers in both Canada and the United States boxes slowly began arriving on my doorstep this week. Acid free foam core backs and conservation single mats, frame sealing tape, buffered hinging tape, frame backing paper, and a handful of other essential components and tools. Everything individually selected to be of the finest quality and provide the safest long-term solution to displaying my custom artwork for my clients.
Happy Mothers Day
This time next year I’ll be a dad and for me Mother’s Day will become just a bit more special. However, today as I look at the growing bump in my wife’s belly I can’t help but to feel especially grateful for everything that being a mother means. So to all of the women out there who have made the ultimate sacrifice to become a mother I hope that for you today is a wonderful day.
