Happy Mothers Day

This time next year I’ll be a dad and for me Mother’s Day will become just a bit more special. However, today as I look at the growing bump in my wife’s belly I can’t help but to feel especially grateful for everything that being a mother means. Every couple of years or so the thin layer of Rhodium that is electroplated on these white gold wedding rings to give them their reflective white surface will fade away leaving them looking yellowish and dull. So it came as no surprise that after nearly two years the ring that I adorn on my left hand didn’t look quite as good as the day that I said “I do”. After leaving them with the jeweler for a few days to be re-plated they came back looking as brilliant as when they were new.
